Amanda was born in London, grew up in Bristol and now lives in Kent with her partner Simon and son Louie. She trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts (now Birds College) and has enjoyed a varied career in theatre. She has played the roles of Lilly St Regis in Annie, Patty Simcox in Grease, Margarita in Evita, Dorcas in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Lady Jacqueline in Me and My Girl. She’s appeared in West End and touring productions of Grease, Marguerite, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Singin’ in the Rain and Under the Moon of Love. She’s also appeared as the lead in several pantomimes at some of the UK’s leading venues. She has also been assistant director on Cats, assistant choreographer on Wuthering Heights and dance captain on Marguerite. She was a guest vocalist at the New Zealand KIA people’s choice awards performing All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera live for SKY TV and appears on the soundtracks of the musicals The Attic, Girl Talk and the original West End cast recording of Marguerite. On television she has be seen in Casualty, The Fight and Pebble Mill at One, and in commercials for Nestle, Lynx and Heat Magazine.
